A great week in a van brimming with character

April 2015

“We hired Hermione for a week in late April and headed down to Cornwall to test her out on some country roads.  We took our young baby with us (car seat strapped in to the front passenger seat) and despite early concerns about whether we’d bitten off more than we could chew, had a great week moving around, enjoying the amazing views out of the massive windows.  There was plenty of room in the van for the three of us – and there would have been even more if we’d packed a little more sensibly!  Mark and Ralph looked after us really well, gave a thorough handover at the start, and were more than happy to field any calls if we had any concerns when out on the road.  All in all, a great week in a van brimming with character – it certainly added a little style to all the campsites we went to!”

Funky B’s Hagrid Turned a Festival Mission into a Festival Holiday For Us

Glastonbury 2014

We had a nightmare trying to find a motorhome after the campervan we booked pulled out 2 weeks before Glastonbury. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise as, in our panic, we found Funky B Motorhomes and booked Hagrid. Hagrid was really spacious and comfortable which made the festival experience ten times better. It was so good to have a cosy bed, a shower, and a cold beer to come back to at 4am in the morning! Customer service was outstanding. We were trained and instructed how to drive and work all of the many gadgets and the guys were always at the end of the phone if we got stuck. All in all, Hagrid turned a festival mission into a festival holiday for us. We can't wait for next year!

5 Days of Joy

19th April 2014 – Josh

I went away in Hagrid, one of Funky B’s amazing motor homes, for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The service was brilliant and Ralph and Mark were very aware of our needs and safety. Hagrid is luxurious and spacious with two seating areas and many hidden compartments to hold all your stuff and everything on board worked perfectly.

Hermione in the Gower

22nd May 2014  – Chris

We took Hermione to the Gower and it was brilliant.   She was really easy to drive (and I’d been quite nervous about that) and the layout gave us lots of space to store everything and still relax in comfort.  Mark and Ralph were great and took a lot of trouble to introduce us fully to Hermione.  None of us wanted to say good bye to her at the end of our holiday!
